I know....the bank we love to hate....but I just found out about this upcoming program in Boston and am blogging about it in the hopes that the news reaches some who may not have known about it.

For those Bank of America mortgage customers having difficulty meeting their mortgage payments or for those who may already have fallen behind, they are holding customer outreach event next week in Boston.  Customers who need assistance will be able to meet with Bank of America specialists to discuss loan modification programs or other options to avoid foreclosure.

Appointments may be scheduled at or by calling 1-855-201-7426.  There will be representatives to service both English speaking and Spanish speaking customers.

The details for the outreach event are as follows:

Where:  Boston Marriott Long Wharf,296 State Street, Boston, MA  02109

When: Monday December 12 - Wednesday December 14, 8 am - 8 pm

Even if you are not from the Boston area, click on the link - there are others scheduled in other states.

If you know someone who may benefit from this event, please pass on the information.

Bank of America is doing a reach out type program here in Florida also. Hope the owners that participate are given options that let them keep their homes.

Good for you CHristine to bring this forward...if homeowners make this step at least they know the options prior to talking with a realtor.

Thank you for posting! I actually was one of the troubled home owners who attended today's event, and let me tell you how great of a show it was. I was approved for the first phase but of of course the next step was for a federal underwriter to take my fille home and crunch numbers??? Really??? So I havent been approved yet!! Right!!?? Now I have to wait 10-15 days for a true decision... God help me!! I'll try to keep you guts posted.
