Stoughton MA Real Estate Market Report for First Quarter 2012

We have looked at the real estate market in Canton MA and the real estate market in Milton MA for the first quarter of 2012.  Here is a look at the real estate market for our neighbors in Stoughton MA
For the first quarter of 2012, there were 33 single family homes sold in Stoughton MA*.  The lowest priced home sold at $72,200 and the highest priced home was $456,000.  The average sales price for this time period was $247,527.00.  
The chart below shows that most homes sold in Stoughton MA in the $200,000 - $300,000 price range during this time period.

Compared to the first quarter of 2011, some of the numbers are moving in the right direction. The first quarter of 2011 had a total of 27 homes sold, with an average sales price of $249,285.00.   So, average sales price is down slightly but the number of single family homes sold is up.
I currently have a client who is under agreement to buy a home in Stoughton MA.  This home saw multiple offers after just a number of days on the market.  So, the activity we are seeing in other markets is present in the Stoughton MA Real Estate market as well.

Hi Christine, Great Looking Market Report for Stoughton, MA. You did better in 2012 than 2011 with sold homes in the first quarter, and having the majority of the homes in that 200K range means more buyers in your area.
