Third Quarter 2013 Market Report for Milton MA

The Milton MA Real Estate Market for the Third Quarter 2013 shows increase in sales and prices compared to the third quarter 2012. 
 
From July 1, 2013 - September 30, 2013, there were 86 single family homes sold in Milton, MA*. The lowest priced home sold for $215,000.00 and the highest priced home sold for $2,100,000.00. The average sales price for this period was $587,086.00.  
 
Third Quarter 2013 sales were up over Third Quarter 2012.  Looking at the past five years, home sales for the third quarter in Milton MA were the highest in 2013 than any year in the past five years.  The chart below shows home sales in Milton for the month of July over the past five years.

Home prices for the third quarter of 2013 were up from the third quarter of 2012.  Below is a chart showing average sales prices in Milton for the month of July over the past five years. You can see that the third quarter of 2013 saw the highest average sales price for the past three years.

What does that mean for buyers?The Milton MA Real Estate Market remains strong, with prices and sales remaining fairly steady.  It continues to be more of a Seller's market with housing inventory remaining low.
