2013 Halloween Parade in Canton MA

The mornings are crisp and cool.  The leaves are starting to turn into beautiful colors.  It's Fall in New England. One of my favorite times of year.  And that means that Halloween is around the corner!

Halloween Parade

One of the nice things about living in a smaller town like Canton MA are the annual traditions.  It is time once again for the annual Halloween parade through Canton center.  This year's parade will be on Sunday October 27th at 1:00 pm. Participants should arrive by 12:30 pm.

Sponsored by the Canton Recreation Department the parade starts at the Bank of Canton parking lot and continues down Washington Street and ends at Canton High School.  At the end of the parade, the recreation department provides refreshments and entertainment, including a DJ.  It was always a fun event to participate in when my kids were little.  It is a nice family event and sometimes entire families dress up in costume.  For more information contact the Canton Recreation Department.

Not into the whole costume thing?  Then stake out your spot along Washington Street and watch as the costumed kids and adults walk by!

The annual Halloween Parade in Canton MA is one of the many things that makes Canton a great place to live.

Christine, this Halloween parade sounds like so much fun!  The only Halloween parade I have been to is the parade in NYC and the costumes were amazing.  Enjoy!

Christine, I know this will be fun and a huge success. Halloween is one of the biggest events of the year all across the country.
