According to the MLS Property Information Network, a total of 13 Sharon MA homes were sold in October 2015. This was 27.8% lower than the 18 sold the previous month. But it was also 62.5% higher than the total sold in October 2014. The real estate market can fluctuate greatly from month to month. You get a more accurate picture of the state of the market by comparing it to the same time period every year instead.
The October 2015 Sharon MA Home Sales Update reported that the average sale price of a Sharon MA home was $485,781 last month. That was a 15.3% increase from last year. A 4 bed/1.5 bath, 2017 square foot Colonial sold for $349,900, the list price. Someone is the brand new owner of a 4 bed/2.5 bath, 3743 square foot Colonial in Sharon MA. They paid $927,000 for it, which was $17,000 over the list price.
What Sharon MA Buyers Need to Know
The October 2015 Sharon MA Home Sales Update showed a double-digit increase in prices from last year. Sales are also much higher. Homes in the area are staying on the market an average of 58 days before finding the right offer. The Federal Reserve is scheduled to meet mid-December. Interest rates are again a topic of interest. There is a lot of chatter among financial experts that this may very well be when they decide to increase rates. Mortgage interest rates will quickly follow suit.
